I can only recommend one provider of themes, and it’s what we personally use here at Lemonandolives.com.
Studiopress makes a WordPress framework called, Genesis. That combined with a Genesis Theme (you’ll need one) creates a powerful WordPress blog for people serious about food blogging. Lemonandolives.com runs on Genesis and a custom Genesis theme (done by me, Kenton). Sky is the limit with the Genesis framework. You’ll be able to do anything you wish as far as designs go, and your website will load fast and look amazing. There is also a lot of bonus features, like HTML5 and SEO optimization built in, so it’s a really great deal. Do you have to go with them? No, but we did and I wouldn’t even think about switching or going with anyone else.
Tip: Think of the Genesis framework as the frame of your car and a Studiopress Genesis theme as the interior/fancy details.
