Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 pound 200g of spaghetti or any pasta of your choice (as a base)
  • 1/2 pound 200g of mixed seafood (prawns, scallops, mussels) symbolizing Aphrodite's birth from the sea
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup 59ml of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup 59ml of white wine
  • A handful of fresh parsley and basil chopped (herbs associated with love and happiness)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the mixed seafood and cook until just done, about 3-5 minutes, depending on the size.
  • Deglaze the pan with white wine and let it reduce slightly.
  • Toss in the cooked pasta, parsley, and basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
