This is very simple and easy appetizer (meze) that you can whip up in no time at all.
I don’t know what it is about these two, but basil and feta cheese go together so deliciously that one wonders if the herb was grown specifically for this combination.
What I truly love about this appetizer besides it’s simplicity, is the addition of olive oil and garlic to an already mouthwatering mix. These flavors all react and balance each other so nicely.
Serve with Greek olives and some warm Kalamata bread and tzatziki

- 1 lb feta cheese
- 1 cup basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic (use more if you're a garlic lover)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Place all ingredients in a food processor (blender) and mix until smooth paste
- Empty into bowl and serve alongside bread!
